I had a clear vision of what I wanted for my clinic, but executing it was a sleepless and anxiety-fuelled process, peppered, of course, with a series of painful mistakes. What I learned over and over was that your clinic will only operate at the level of its systems. And your staff and systems can only be as clear as you are. I never thought I’d be a ‘vision and values’ or a systems person. I actually have a visceral aversion to structure. But time and again, I learned that translating my intent through clear systems cleared up so many sticky HR issues, and it’s been a game-changer for my stress levels and ability to grow my team.

I offer online mentorship supporting owners in building out and growing their clinic and developing their leadership skills. The work tends to look like either strategizing towards a particular goal, or putting out whatever fire might be burning that day!
